The Explosion ist eine Punkband aus Boston.
Gegründet wurde die Band 1998 von Matt Hock, Dave Walsh, Damian Genaurdi
und Dan Colby. Sam Cave stieß später hinzu. Am 30. April 2007 löste sich
die Band auf.
Damian Genaurdi war früher Bassist bei In My Eyes, Sam Cave war Gitarrist
bei Trouble.
